Officially the Republic of Kenya, it is located in East Africa and is famous for its incredible natural parks and biodiversity. It gained independence from the United Kingdom on December 12, 1963, and its location has always been a key point on commercial, spices and slave shipping routes. It has borders with Ethiopia, Somalia, South Sudan, Tanzania and Uganda.
Its capital is one of the largest cities on the continent and is full of contrasts. The cultures in the country have allowed several refugees from neighboring countries to come to this city making it a very cultural city.
